Following a week of presentations to all students on cycle safety. Shoreham Academy would like to thank Adur & Worthing Council, the WSCC fire brigade and Day Aggregates for coming into the academy and highlighting some key safety concerns and tips for keeping safe. Today the Day Aggregates truck demonstrated how difficult it is for cyclists and pedestrians to be seen by truck and bus drivers even with modern technology in the cab. All cyclists were provided with flashing red and white lights and a luminous bag cover.
